By accessing this website, registering for activities, purchasing tickets, booking stalls, submitting applications, sponsoring the event, volunteering, or participating in any event-related activity, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

Pistang Pilipino sa Wellington 2026 is hosted by Streams of Life Charitable Trust and operated through the official event website, Pistang Pilipino NZ. Selected registrations, bookings, and payments may be processed through Streams of Life NZ.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all website visitors, participants, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, performers, competitors, and attendees associated with Pistang Pilipino sa Wellington 2026.

1. Event Information

Pistang Pilipino sa Wellington 2026 is a community cultural event celebrating Filipino heritage, food, arts, sports, music, entertainment, and community engagement during Labour Weekend in Wellington, New Zealand.

Event dates are scheduled for:

  • Friday, 23 October 2026
  • Saturday, 24 October 2026
  • Sunday, 25 October 2026

The organisers reserve the right to modify schedules, venues, programmes, activities, and operational arrangements where necessary due to weather conditions, safety concerns, council requirements, operational limitations, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or participating in any Pistang Pilipino sa Wellington 2026 activity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use this website or participate in event activities.

3. Registrations and Applications

4. Payments and Fees

Some event activities may require payment, deposits, registration fees, sponsorship contributions, or stallholder fees.

Payments processed through Streams of Life NZ or affiliated ecommerce systems must be completed using approved payment methods.

Participants acknowledge that:

  • some deposits may be non-refundable
  • transaction fees may apply
  • payment deadlines must be followed
  • unpaid registrations may be cancelled
  • event prices may change without prior notice

Failure to complete payment obligations may result in cancellation of participation rights.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund requests are subject to the event Refund Policy.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • deposits are generally non-refundable
  • cancellations due to personal circumstances may not qualify for refunds
  • weather-related disruptions may not automatically entitle participants to compensation
  • organisers may cancel or modify activities if safety concerns arise

Where refunds are approved, processing times may vary depending on payment providers and banking systems.

6. Stallholders and Vendors

Food vendors, dry goods sellers, craftspeople, sponsors, exhibitors, and promotional stallholders must comply with all event operational requirements and Wellington City Council regulations.

Vendors are responsible for:

  • food safety compliance
  • waste management
  • electrical safety
  • public liability obligations
  • stall setup and pack down
  • protecting their own property and equipment
  • maintaining safe operating conditions

The organisers reserve the right to inspect, suspend, or remove stalls that fail to comply with event requirements, council regulations, or health and safety obligations.

Participation as a stallholder is at the participant’s own risk.

7. Health and Safety

All participants, attendees, volunteers, vendors, and contractors must comply with event health and safety requirements.

Participants must:

  • follow organiser instructions
  • behave responsibly
  • avoid creating hazards
  • respect emergency procedures
  • comply with venue and council requirements

The organisers reserve the right to remove any individual whose behaviour may endanger public safety, disrupt the event, or negatively affect other participants.

Emergency services, security personnel, and authorised event officials may enforce safety procedures where necessary.

8. Sports and Physical Activities

Participation in sports competitions, performances, fitness activities, games, or physical events is voluntary and undertaken at the participant’s own risk.

Participants acknowledge that:

  • physical activities carry inherent risks
  • injuries may occur during participation
  • organisers are not responsible for personal injury arising from participation except where required by law
  • participants should ensure they are medically fit to participate

Parents or guardians are responsible for minors participating in activities.

9. Photography, Video, and Media Consent

By attending or participating in Pistang Pilipino sa Wellington 2026, participants acknowledge and agree that photographs, videos, livestreams, recordings, interviews, and media content may be captured during the event.

The organisers reserve the right to use such content for:

  • marketing
  • promotional campaigns
  • social media
  • website publication
  • community reporting
  • future event promotion

Participants waive any claim to compensation or ownership relating to event media captured during the event.

Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising minors regarding media participation.

10. Intellectual Property

All event branding, logos, graphics, promotional materials, website content, event concepts, and media produced by Pistang Pilipino sa Wellington 2026 or Streams of Life Charitable Trust remain the intellectual property of their respective owners unless otherwise stated.

16. Amendments

The organisers reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Updated versions will be published on the official website.

Continued use of the website or participation in event activities constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Any disputes arising in relation to Pistang Pilipino sa Wellington 2026 shall be subject to the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
